Saturday April 26th 1:30pm - 3:00pm

This class would include a discussion on what nib works in various situations (vintage flex for example vs extra fine). The topic of ink properties will also be a part of this class. Lisa will supply a sample of white lightning additive to use for inks that are finicky. We will discuss ink properties that affect flow of pens Lisa will have a few modern pens apart as well and tips and tools for the intermediate user to perform maintenance.

Lisa will supply 4 sheets of various fountain pen friendly loose-leaf paper.

About Lisa Vanness:

Lisa Vanness spent most of her career in the mental health field. After years of enjoying journaling and general creative arts, she joined her husband's 3rd generation family business to work in marketing and product development. Vanness has developed a large inventory of fountain pen ink, but their real knowledge is in the details of the fountain pens themselves.

Lisa is a left-handed fountain pen user, and she doesn't smear her ink! She has been a speaker at various Pen shows and conferences across the US and enjoys teaching a new generation the importance of writing especially with a fountain pen. She enjoys spending time with family on outdoor adventures.

By purchasing this ticket, you agree to the following terms:

Workshops are non-refundable, non-transferable or redeemable for cash, and all sales are final. We have committed to compensating our instructors for their time, supplies and talent.
If you can't make it on the actual day, you will get the kit to finish the project at home. Workshop materials must be picked up in person from our store Little Craft Place and will not be mailed to participants who are unable to attend.
In the event a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be fully refunded within 10 days of the event. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.
Workshops are not included in the daily pass.
